Are we becoming less human and more robotic?
Human being is the one who has multiple emotions, thoughts, feelings etc. whereas a robot such as a computer or any electronic device which thinks, feels, and behaves with a prefixed guidance or program set by the human being itself. No machine in the world acts by its own but a human being acts as per its whims and fancies. The transformation of man from stone age to today's highly advanced technological age is only because of his own mind power. Human being is making the things or inventing the things like computer or a mechanical/automated robot as per his/her convenience such as to make the work easier and to save the precious time, mainly to utilize his/her time to its fullest length possible. If the era of human beings end, then there will be nothing on this planet earth to work. Human resource is the best resource and the primary resource which can make use of any other resource on the earth. It seems as if the human being is behaving like a robot but the fact is that he/she is not becoming robotic day by day but making the physical world to be robotic in all the aspects, for instance, if we consider the man who lived in the stone age never liked to live with the stones rather he tried to mold those stones into useful articles and he succeeded in doing that by inventing hand-held weapons to hunt animals for his livelihood, and as the days passed away he transformed himself into a highly intellectual species on the earth and universe as a whole.
It is not that human beings forgot the human nature but the thing is that the human beings are using their intelligence to invent more and more things as per their necessity, it is true that necessity is the mother of invention, but the only unfortunate thing is, man is using his brain to invent automated things rather than the things which are non-robotic, for example, now man is able to create new seeds or modify the seeds(genetically modified) given by the nature and making them artificial, of course, man used all the natural things and now heading towards inventing artificial things by transforming natural things into unnatural ones and in the mean time he is unable to notice that he is becoming robotic in trying to invent highly automated machines.
Man is also forgetting that he is destroying environment and making it unsustainable, here we can quote the global warming or climate change as a true or live example to declare that man is becoming more robotic and less human. Inventing robots is not a sin but making ourselves automated by being in the passion of inventing man like robots is not acceptable. Robots may act like man but they never become humans, and simultaneously, man may make robots but he cannot become a robot unless he fails to realize that he is a human being.
A man is man and a robot is a robot. Man cannot be a robot and robot cannot be a man. Man may sometimes act like a robot, but he is not a robot. It is true that man is becoming more robotic but he always thinks like a man by his own. Man may forget about morals for sometimes but one day or the other he realizes that he is a human being, whereas a robot never.
