Not only politicians of various hues but also former cricketers have rooted for Tendulkar. First person to score a double century in One Day format game, his is not a feat, but the capability and caliber of this little champ.

Tendulkar's greatness in various formats has been acknowledged by the peers, seniors, spectators and even the statisticians. He has been an impeccable player in the history of Indian Cricket. He is a true Ratna for Bharat and no one can deny this fact.

Many critics will be definitely made on this statement as till now no sportsmen is been bestowed with this award and also the age factor will be the concern for the jury. But his service to the nation are too obvious to be reminded of. Not age, but achievements should be the yardstick. Played 22 years for his nation selflessly which none of the cricketer ever did, plz respect that great legend for his noble work, we people are really lucky because we have sachin & he is the best candidature for Bharat Ratna.
