Presidents of India
India has had presidents with a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Many have had a political career but there is Mr. Kalam who was a scientist. Some presidents were vice presidents before being promoted to the post of president. We have men who have been scholars from different caste and community backgrounds. We have even had a woman president. The list of our presidents may not be long but their achievements put together makes a very long list.
